How Much Will a New Furnace Cost in Central Indiana?

By: Brian Schutt  |  January 11, 2017

Whether you live in Fishers, Westfield, Carmel, Noblesville, Geist, or Indianapolis neighborhoods, gas furnaces can cost anywhere between $2,000 and $6,000.

That’s not always an easy dollar figure to swallow, even on the coldest of winter days. But to help you out, here are five things to consider if you’re in the market for a new heating system for your Central Indiana home.

1. Consider the Cost to Operate

Furnaces and other HVAC systems come in varying levels of efficiencies. While it may not always make financial sense to select the most efficient gas furnace—or even be fiscally possible for your family budget—considering an investment in Energy Star labeled appliance can end up saving you money in the long and short term. We have several options for you to consider.

2. Keep Your Furnace Maintained

There a few simple things you can do—like checking and changing your filters on time—to keep your repair costs low. And to keep you more secure, you’ll also want to sign up for our Preventative Maintenance Program, which includes two service appointments—one in the spring and one in the fall, as well as:

  • 1-year warranty on parts and labor for all repairs
  • 10% discount on repairs
  • 10% discount on diagnostic/trip charge
  • 10% discount on Indoor Air Quality products
  • Maintain factory warranty, as required
  • Priority service in the event of an emergency

3. Take Advantage of Rebates

Depending on the gas furnace you select, it may include a rebate from the manufacturer. Additionally, utility companies also offer their own rebates and discounts for certain HVAC purchases.

4.  Consider Financing Options

We offer several financing solutions with low monthly payments or no interest periods. Alternatively, you can consider taking out a home equity loan, home improvement loan, or utilizing low-interest credit cards to make the initial financial transaction easier to handle.

5. Use Your Phone

Keep your utility bills in check by investing in a new thermostat that allows you to set back your temperature via your wifi and cell phone—even when you’re away from your Indiana house.
