Scott Matthews completes Install courses

We believe in continuous, incremental improvement: in our individual work, in our business as a whole, and in our personal lives. That’s why our internal company theme for this year is Brick-by-Brick. Our goal is to see consistent growth through the incremental increase in skills, teamwork, and service. Along those lines, we’re excited to highlight one of our technicians, Scott Matthews, who added a lot to his skillset recently. 

Scott started with us a little under a year ago with experience as a Duct Cleaning Helper. Over this past year, he worked his way up to a Duct Cleaning Lead. He then expressed a desire to further his career as a Lead Installer, so he also spent this past year learning as an Install Helper. 

We were excited when he then asked for continued opportunities to grow in the trades, so we partnered with our supplier, Johnstone, to send Scott to a Gas Furnace Installation class in Cincinnati. He then returned to Cincinnati a second time recently for an Air Conditioning Installation class. At the end of that course, he tied for first place in his class with a score of 98.3%! 

These courses were multi-week, intensive commitments. Scott’s had a great attitude about the courses from the beginning.  He even invested in himself by purchasing the new tools he needed to best engage with the courses. We’re proud of Scott for the effort he put into furthering his skillset.
