Fall Furnace Installation Season is approaching, Indianapolis.

By: Brian Schutt  |  August 31, 2012

With temperatures hitting 90 degrees last week it’s hard to believe, but fall and the heating season are just around the corner.  Anyone who’s lived in the Midwest knows that the weather turns on a dime, and it’s easy to be caught in the cold if you aren’t prepared.

If you’re a homeowner with a 15+ year old furnace, you’ve dealt with issues in the past, or you expect the system might just kick the bucket this winter, this is the time for you to be shopping for a new furnace.

While the weather is mild, companies are much more likely to give you a special deal on your new furnace, like our own Carrier rebates available.  In addition to a better up front price, many dealers have special financing options for new furnace installs in the fall, so don’t be afraid to ask if you can get longer terms for 0% options.

Secondly, with Federal laws changing on May 1, 2013 – which will require a minimum efficiency of 90%, you have a short time to get better deals on the 80% efficient systems if budget is an issue.

And, in an effort to avoid frustration and a rushed decision, replacing your furnace when it’s 60 degrees is much more comfortable and less stressful than when it’s below zero. If you have the capability, avoid that frustration.
