The countdown has begun. Three days till Christmas…9 days till New Year’s…12 days until major manufacturers increase their prices on residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
I know, I know. The first two are awesome, and the last one couldn’t be further from awesome. But there is some good news! I’ll share that in a bit, but first more details on the price increases.
Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and ICP Furnace Brands
UTC Climate, Controls & Security—manufacturer of HVAC products under the Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and ICP brand names—announced they will be raising their wholesale pricing to five percent.
Lennox Furnace Brands
Additionally, Lennox Industries Inc. announced that it will increase prices by 3-4 percent on select residential and commercial equipment, accessories, and parts—due in part to the increased costs of regulatory compliance.
Trane, American Standard, and Ameristar Furnace Brands
And so as not to be left out of the party, Ingersoll Rand Residential HVAC announced an average price increase of 3-4 percent on select residential HVAC equipment for its Trane, American Standard, and Ameristar brands—also due in part to the increased cost of regulatory compliance and finished goods conversion costs.
